22 miles of HELL (FUN!!!)
Chris and I found one of the best single track mountain trails ever! It had everything required for a great trail; tight trees, technical riding, water crossings, old cabins, hard to navigate, uncrowded, very scenic... here I'll let the pics do the talking!

Craig and I went to hobble Creek today (because everyone else wimped out). The weather held until we were almost back at the truck. Craig about met his maker on the grill of a Ford Explorer that appeared to be heading down the same single track we were headed up on, scared the hell out of both of us, but we found out we were at the end of the trail that connects to a farm access road. We ran into a couple nasty downhills one of which sent me sailing, sorta. My battery was dead this morning so I had to start the bike the NayKid way with the kicker. Boy I appreciate the electric start when it works. We explored another route to increase some riding loops if so desired. Here is the map, not as sophisticated as Halestorms but it is from the forest service and I imposed our route over it.
You all missed out! Maybe Craig can get the only photo posted!

Hobble Creek This Saturday
Craig and I are putting together a hobble creek run on Saturday. Meet at my house at 7:45 am. Hobble creek has lots of single track and one deep beaver pond if we end up taking that route. If Halestorm goes then it is for sure we will. Could end up being in the 70 mile range so plan fuel accordingly.
Here is the map from the last time we rode it.
Ride Essentials List
OK we really need to start carrying more stuff on our rides. Here is a list of items everyone should be carrying to ensure they do not have to limp or walk back to the truck if something happens. What do you think? Is there anything missing?
Here is the link to the full sheet.

Albert Moser Loop
Well on this ride we experienced another flat tire... you can fix a flat with only a small crescent wrench, leatherman, one bottle of CO2, and a couple patches - just ask Jason. We still had fun as we found a new trail that offers a very technical climb (I took quite a few pictures, each picture has a story so you will have to ask us sometime to explain). The good thing about the ride it even though we were about 1.5 hours late getting home I still made it to my anniversary dinner without getting a divorce!
OK - Who can tell what is going on in the pic below?

Malad Summitt... but the trail is on the map!
I was able to go do a little trail maintenance (finding) with the Zen Master of Trails in the Cache area. I'm pretty sure I hiked as much as I rode on this trip. Here are the pics and a map.
