Old Green Ride - Malad Summit

A few years back I started a loop with Chris, Ken and Dale. After the first couple miles Dale got a flat tire and had to go back. Chris Ken and I continued on when about mid way through the ride my KTM sprung an oil leak (it was Dale's fault.)We had to find the easiest route back and left the loop unfinished. It had been bugging me for several years but today I got to finish it.

This is one of those great Idaho singletracks that exist on a map but finding the trail on the mountain is very challenging! Here are the pics.

Crow Creek Rhino Ride

I went on one of the scariest Rhino rides in my life... I met up with my Dad east of Afton along Crow Creek. He wanted to show me an area he had been exploring in his Rhino. Supposedly he has been going up there for the past 50 years so he has the "right-of-way" to no trespassing signs, active mining signs (caution explosions), 1000 ton dump trucks, 5 story earth movers, etc. I couldnt pass up an oportunity like that!

After scaring me with the constant thought of a huge dumptruck running me over during the the mine exploration I decided it was my turn to scare my Dad. I took him on my kind of ride... the narrowest 4 wheeler trail I could find coupled with a few horse trails, etc...
