Come on somebody. Let's go play once more before it's winter. I got a little wet (tears sickos) looking at the blog. I'm glad you all put it together for my enjoyment. BTW - the last trip to Moab was bittersweet. great riding, not enough of "Crag"

Emmigration North "Old School Ride"

Wen went for an old school ride today, no maps, no planning, no worries! This ride had it all fast sections, hill climbs, decents, technical section, mud, steam crossings, log crossings, bushwacking, etc... We never really knew exactly where we were but we didn't care. The goal was to make as fun of a loop as possible and we succeded. Chris had a few crashes, Craig dumped his bike upside down and all the "water" ran out, Ken had some great hill climbs, and I figured out a loop (we all know how much I like to backtrack!).

If you think you want to try to duplicate this ride GOOD LUCK!!!! It is not possible.

Sorry for the lack of pics as we were having too much fun riding. Here is what I have.

Worm Creek

I found a cool new trail about 15 minutes from my house. It is a very scenic loop with several stream crossings. The trail does have some tricky spots for a Rhino/4 wheeler but is a blast on a trials bike! We need to get a few more trials bikes in the group as it opens up a ton of possibilities.

Ken tells his story about wrecking in a ditch with the help of Boomhauer from King of the Hill

Ken - We were just about done for the day and I really wanted to finish with a bang.

Boomhauer - Woowee man, Ah was gol dang butt sore man, but the chick's dig so Ah went faster.

Ken - I was 50 feet from the trailer and forgot about the ditch.

Boomhauer - Cruisin man, uhuh the earth opened up man.

Ken - I hit the throttle and pulled, but my front tire went in. I tried to turn it gracefully like Casey would, but it was no good; I ate it bad.

Boomhauer - Rolled the gas man, but mah puny ass arms couldn't pull it dang it and in Ah went man, uhuh. Casey, a real ladies turn on man, would have rolled it man, but Ah ate dirt.

Ken - Everybody laughed, but I didn't cry so it is all good.
