Garrett's "Crag Climbing"

So its been a while... I know this isn't our usual type of crag climbing but I hope you still enjoy the pics. So 2 years ago at age 7 I took Garrett to the top of Mt Borah in Idaho (Borah is the highest mountain in Idaho and has some amazing views). Garrett did great on the hike and I knew we would be doing more. Last year we hiked a few local hikes in UT/ID. This year we climbed the 2nd highest peak in ID, Leatherman Peak. Once done Garrett and I were talking and I mentioned their are 9 peaks over 12,000 feet in ID. He is 9 and it would be a major accomplishment to get all 9 peaks finished while he is 9. He wants to do them all in a month...

On Wednesday this week I decided I may be able to take a day and try to get one more accomplished. We left the house at 9pm arrived at the trail head at 12:30am and slept in the back of the Subaru. We woke up at 6 got ready and headed up the mtn. Got to the summit around 10 hung out for a while and took pics, re-hydrated, ate candy bars, etc. Headed down and got back to the car around 12:30.

Below are some pics from the adventures so far.

Here are some pics from Borah Here are the pics from Leatherman And the pics from Diamond OK so we have 3 down and 6 more to go. If anyone would like to join us give me a call :).
